Dry Van Regional CDL Truck Driver

About the Job

Ruan is hiring regional Class A CDL drivers to be based in Tampa, FL, to haul batteries with dry van trailers for our national dedicated customer. Drivers will pick up and deliver palletized batters using a lift gate and electric pallet jack. This position requires a Hazmat endorsement within 60 days of hire, which Ruan can assist to obtain. Pay

Earn an average of $85,000 per year and $1,600 per week. Get paid $26.50 per hour with overtime after 40 hours.

Schedule

Be home weekly with consecutive days off, departing on Monday with occasional Sunday dispatch. Areas of operations include: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Drivers will deliver 2-4 multi-stop loads per week with 1-2 nights out and home most weekends.

Equipment

Haul palletized batteries with dry van trailers while picking up and delivering the product with a lift gate and electric pallet jack. This position requires a Hazmat endorsement within 60 days of hire, which Ruan can assist to obtain. Yard work may be required from time to time.

Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 22 years or older
No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years

With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
