Job Description:
The diesel mechanic will maintain and repair diesel trucks, ranging in size from tractors/trailers, heavy duty trucks, and step-vans to pick-up trucks. The mechanic is also responsible for maintaining and repairing the mounted contractor's equipment contained on those vehicles.
Where: Chicago, IL
Position: Diesel Mechanic
Pay: $25-$30 per hour plus overtime (Negotiable based off experience).

Essential Job Functions:
Maintain and repair diesel trucks of varying sizes.
Maintain and repair contractor's equipment.
Maintain and repair gas generators and compressors.
Requirements:
Willingness to work with a team.
Valid Driver's License required.
Must have own tools.
Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Ability to pass safety training exams and the background check required
Safety, conscientious, dependable and quality-minded individual.
