Truck Driver Class A Hazmat

All Safe Global is a long standing and growing company serving the compressed gas industry. The company is guided by the principles of performance, value-creation and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a qualified Class A truck driver with a minimum of 2 years regional or OTR experience. This is a year round position. Qualified candidates will be hauling our hazmat compressed gas cylinders with our trucks and trailers in the Midwest surrounding Evansville, IN. Drivers will be out 1 to 2 nights per week in the truck with every weekend home. Drivers will be dealing with dedicated customers on the same routes every week. *Responsibilities and Duties*

The position is responsible for all of the following duties that are performed personally:

* Driving a tractor with trailer regionally
* Hauling Hazmat items (Gas cylinders used for propane, welding, medical, etc.)
* Good customer service skills
* Be physically capable of moving 100lb+ objects on a daily basis

*Qualifications and Skills*

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to excel at each duty outlined above and have the following knowledge, skills, ability and background:

General Requirements

* Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement or ability to obtain by date of hire
* Valid current medical card
* Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor trailer regional / OTR experience in all types of weather
* Registered in the Clearing House
* Must have a safe driving record and good accident history
* Must pass pre-employment drug test
* Possess general equipment knowledge

Language, Communication and Math Skills

* Ability to read and write in English
* Able to do basic math and calculations
* Proficient with email and other forms of electronic communication

* While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, drive and hear.
* The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects. Electric pallet jack provided.
* The employee is required to use hands to type, handle, or feel objects, tools and machine controls.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, night vision and distance vision.
