We’re hiring CDL-A Fuel Technicians to support Class I railroad operations at the local rail yard in Salina, Kansas. You’ll fuel locomotives on-site—no long-haul freight, no mileage pay, and no dispatch chaos. Just consistent, well-paid work that keeps you home daily.

*Job Details*

* Location: Local rail yard – Salina, KS
* Shift: Swing Shift, 12-hour rotating schedule
* Week 1: 5 on / 2 off
* Week 2: 5 on / 2 off
* Week 3: 4 on / 3 off
* Home Daily: Yes – local fueling only
* Guaranteed Starting Pay: 81,536.00 per year + overtime after 40 hours/week
* Signing Bonus: $3,000
* Raises: Guaranteed every 6 months
* Overtime: Paid over 40 hours/week

*What You’ll Do*

* Fuel locomotives safely and efficiently in the yard
* Perform DVIR inspections and basic equipment checks
* Record fuel inventory and activity logs accurately
* Communicate clearly with railroad crews and LSI supervisors
* Follow FRA, DOT, and environmental safety protocols
* Respond to fuel-related incidents (full training provided)

* Valid CDL-A License
* Tanker and HazMat (X) endorsements (required at time of hire)
* Ability to drive a manual (stick shift) transmission

* Must pass a Homeland Security–compliant background check (no felonies)
* Ability to lift 50 lbs and safely climb ladders
