OTR Over the Road CDL A Truck Driver

*Responsibilities*
* Safely operate tractor-trailers across long distances, adhering to all federal and state transportation regulations.
* No touch freight
* Manage, flatbeds, Conestoga , No Tarp
* Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards.
* Plan optimal routes for efficient delivery schedules while adapting to route changes or unforeseen delays.
* Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, load details, and delivery documentation in compliance with Hours of Service regulations.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery statuses, route adjustments, or issues encountered on the road.
* Demonstrate proficiency in driving automatic transmission vehicles.
* Uphold a professional attitude when interacting with customers during deliveries and pickups to ensure a positive experience.
*Qualifications*
* Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
* Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery across long distances.
* Experience with load securement.
* Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and freight handling.
* Strong organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and documentation accurately.
