OTR Class A CDL Driver

*Overview*
Join the Sunbelt Xpress Family, the industry leader in furniture transportation. We are seeking qualified Class A CDL drivers (solo or team) to haul LTL, Multi-stop furniture out of the Hickory, NC Terminal across all 48 Continental States

*Duties*

* Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
* Unload freight safely using appropriate equipment and techniques.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
* Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and cargo details as required by regulations.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
* Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle.

*Requirements*

* 21 Years of age
* Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driver's license,with at least 1 year commercial driving (with in last 36 months).
* Clear driving record (MVR and PSP reports).
* Current DOT Physical with Long Form and must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
* Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.
* Ability to lift heavy loads using a hand truck as required during loading/unloading processes.
* Excellent time management skills with a focus on meeting delivery deadlines.
* Previous furniture experience is preferred but not required.
