Village Travel is seeking Part-Time and Full-Time Motorcoach Drivers to join our team! Our top-notch team of drivers provides service for sports team charters, senior group tours, employee shuttles, military moves, and cross-country adventures for nearly 8,000 groups. Ideal candidates must be safety and service-oriented, must enjoy working with people, and are open to learning and exploring new destinations!

Don't have a CDL? At times we can assist drivers with training and obtaining your CDL depending on business demands.

PT Opportunities:

PT Drivers are needed at all locations!

FT Opportunities:
Great for people who enjoy being on the road the majority of the time
FT Drivers are eligible for PTO, Health, Dental, Vision, company paid Life Insurance, 401K - with company match!
FT Drivers are needed at most locations!

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assists passengers loading and unloading and in some cases collects tickets.
Regulates heating and air systems, lighting, and audio/video systems for passenger comfort.
Complies with local traffic regulations and applicable state and federal regulations.
Reports delays or accidents.
Inspects bus as required per FMCSA rules and company policies.
Loads and unloads baggage in the baggage compartment.
Fuels vehicles when necessary.
Reads schedules and itineraries, interprets maps, processes accident and incident reports, and prepares all necessary company paperwork (including, but not limited to Electronic DVIR's, logs and work tickets)
Must be able to operate technology to scan tickets at each stop and be able to adhere to set schedule yet be flexible with late trains/buses which are out of our control.

Required Qualifications:

Be at least 25 years old.
Possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
US citizen or permanent Visa.
Possess a valid Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with Passenger endorsement, and no air brake restriction.
Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Pass a DOT physical given by a physician certified on the FMCSA National Registry and approved by the Company.
Must have an acceptable driving record (MVR): Have no more than 2 moving violations within the last 12 months.
Have no more than 4 moving violations within the last 3 years.
Have no more than 1 minor accident within the last 3 years.
Have no major accidents, no reckless driving charges, no DUI’s, and no DWI’s. (Failure to appear, for any of the above citations or charges, will be considered a violation.)
Have no suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years.
Must comply with all other applicable qualifications for employment established by regulation and by the Company.
Must satisfactorily demonstrate acceptable driving behaviors during a road test.
Must live within 1 hour of any of our locations.

Physical Demands:

Must be physically capable to perform essential job functions, including the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
*PLEASE NOTE: A driver is expected to be able physically to load and unload luggage for all passengers.*
