    NFI Trailer Technician Expectations & Requirements:
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
  • Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of trailers
  • Welding/fabrication as needed on trailer equipment
  • Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines
  • Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.
  • On-site evaluation with recommended training


  • NFI Trailer Technician Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license
  • Technical or advanced degree or 1+ yeras of equivalent maintenance experience
  • Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.
