*Position Summary: *Our Performance Group seeks skilled Mechanical or Thermal Engineers to join our team in Knoxville, TN. You’ll play a key role in conducting on-site testing and performance evaluations of turbines, boilers, and heat rejection systems, supporting clients in power generation, petrochemical, process plants, and campus utilities across the U.S. and worldwide.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Conduct power plant performance testing and analysis
* Work with ASME and CTI performance test codes
* Travel to client sites (domestic & international)
* Analyze and report technical data
* Support clients in determining system efficiency and evaluating new component performance guarantees

*Required Qualifications:*

* B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering (or related field)
* U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
* 3+ years of hands-on experience in power plant performance testing
* Knowledge of ASME performance test codes
* Strong analytical and communication skills
* Willingness to travel extensively (including occasional weekends)

*Preferred Qualifications:*

* Experience with remote data acquisition and precision testing instruments
* Familiarity with CTI test standards and ANSI sound testing standards
* Project management experience

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
