ROLE: Lynden Door Trucking, LLC is a growing, family-owned transportation and logistics company, looking for full-time, Regional and OTR drivers based out of Kelso, WA. We haul our doors from Lynden to the states in the Pacific Northwest, Midwest, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio, and beyond at times, and bring all types of freight back to Northwest in 53ft dry vans. Our OTR loads are mostly no touch. Equipment consists of newer Peterbilt and Volvo tractors.

MORE ABOUT THE ROLE:

Regional lanes running between WA, ID, OR, UT, and CA, then return, unloading and delivering as needed
These lanes allow the driver to be home every weekend.
OTR lanes run to MN, WI, and beyond, then returning from OH, MO, to be delivered in the Pacific Northwest.
These lanes require driver to be gone 10-11 days and one weekend including 34 hour reset. Home every other weekend in some cases. Longer road time is available to those drivers that would like to be gone longer

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Competitive hourly wages, based on driving experience and years worked in the industry our regional drivers typically make a starting wage of $74k/annually based on 55hrs./weekly. Our OTR drivers typically make a starting wage of $81k/annually based on 60 hrs./weekly.
Steady work throughout the year
Drivers are paid while loading and unloading
Overtime is paid for all hours worked in a week over 40, 2020 regional drivers averaged 500 hours of overtime, and OTR drivers averaged 780 hours of overtime.
Safety Bonus; 1% of regular hourly pay after one year, paid annually
Efficiency, Road Compliance & Customer Service Bonus: 1% of the regular hourly pay for each category after 90 days
Paid Time Off is available after 90 days
Quality Medical, Dental and Vision insurance plans available for full-time employees after 60 days
A 401-K retirement plan is available with company contributions after 1 full year of employment

CORE SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

Class A drivers must be able to provide a good driving record
Physically fit enough to chain up, tailgate some product, and assist in sorting doors being dropped at each location
OTR and mountain driving experience is a plus
Drivers must understand all DOT driving laws and regulations
Job offers are based on passing a DOT drug and alcohol test as required by law
Must have good customer service skills and the ability to represent our Company well to the public
