*Responsibilities*

* Safely operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, tandems, and/or double axels to transport freight efficiently.
* Strap cargo safely and securely.
* Drive on assigned routes adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations, including those specific to commercial driving and route driving.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checks on brakes, lights, tires, and load securement.
* Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
* Follow all safety protocols related to operating specialized equipment like refrigerated units or tanker trucks.

*Qualifications*

* Proven 1 year of recent CDL A tractor trailer, reefer, tandem, double axel driving experience with a focus on freight delivery; prior delivery driver experience is highly valued.
* Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the types of trucks operated.
* Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and familiarity with tractor-trailer operations.
* Strong knowledge of safety regulations governing commercial driving and transportation standards.
* Physical ability to handle loading tasks and long hours on the road; must be able to meet physical demands associated with trucking roles.
