We're hiring a talented and highly motivated Motorsports Technician to join our team. Preference will go to an individual with Polaris training/credentials. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced, high-energy company, and will be capable of working on various different projects simultaneously. This is a challenging position, so we are seeking candidates who are energetic, passionate about the field and willing to take responsibility for their actions. We are looking for highly qualified applicants who can perform complex tasks and enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment. _*Competitive salary based on experience plus tool allowance and performance bonuses.*_

Responsibilities:

* Performs repairs and maintenance on all makes and models of equipment
* Maintains current knowledge of all brands offered as well as competitive products
* Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
* Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
* Accounts for all time within DMS and for all material used in performing assigned duties
* May perform diagnosis and repair in the field
* Interacts in a positive and respectful manner with customers and fellow employees
* Participates in John Deere, Arctic Cat, Polaris and Stihl training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
* Actively assists in recruiting service work
* Shares knowledge and skills with other company technicians
* Maintains and promotes a safe work environment. Demonstrates understanding of and ability to follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
* Performs other duties as assigned

*Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge *

* 2+ years of professional experience performing service repairs in a business setting or certificate/diploma from a recognized program
* Ability to perform repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
* Significant knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of Motorsports, turf equipment and handheld power equipment
* Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
* Ability to use a forklift/skid loader, forklift certification preferred
* Proficient oral and written communication skills
* Basic Service Technician certification preferred
* Must have an adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities
